Coronavirus, or as its officially called COVID 19, has shaken the world that we once knew, and it left many kiwis to feel uneasy about what the future will hold for them.
COVID has taken a toll not only on the health of the world, but it has also taken a toll on the economy at both local and global scale. Being realistic – 2020 has been a bit of a write off year in terms of many people’s personal progression, but it’s not over yet.
Us kiwis love to travel and were re-discovering why we are a top tourist destination globally. Which is great, but its no trip to Disneyland is it. Many of us are spending more time at home, and that’s posed a question for some – is this home where I want to live. Is this the neighbourhood I’m happy for my kids to walk my dog? Is this kitchen where I enjoy cooking dinner every night?
This re-evaluation of your situation is completely normal, most of us spent more time at home during lockdown than we normally would over 24 months. We started looking at how we lived our lives and whether our homes were what we needed them to be. Whether the spaces were used effectively, or would our lives be that little bit easier if there were slight adjustments to our homes.
